A new calendar year is always an exciting time in a primary school; children return to school rejuvenated after time with their loved ones and staff are thrilled to see their pupils. The start of a new year, indeed decade, means that many children and adults alike will be writing the wrong year for the next few days.

At GLUU, 2020 marks the year we will be starting to branch out to other schools, whilst continuing to develop what is already in place at Eaton Primary School. We have made excellent progress with the digital transformation of Eaton, but it is important to bring our solutions to other schools. Although Tarvin Primary School is local to Eaton, the similarities finish there. Having almost twice as many pupils and staff and already being an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school poses different tests. Perhaps most challenging is the current lack of hardware in place within the school. GLUU is looking forward to adapting the model in place at Eaton to suit Tarvin’s needs as well as refining as our process for integration within a primary school.

From everyone at GLUU, we wish you all the best for 2020 and appreciate you ‘sticking around’ for another exciting year.

All the best,

Andy Pritchard
